Susan has dedicated the last 35 years of her career catalyzing change and unleashing the potential of individuals and organizations to perform and innovate. She has held talent led talent and executive development, business transformation, cultural renewal, and increasing employee engagement. She has built business strategies for growth, led large global organizations and company-wide change initiatives.
Susan’s non-profit work focuses on helping women in the poorest parts of the world reach economic independence through the Rising International Organization, where she is on the Board of Trustees. She was also on the Board of Directors for the Association for Talent Development, the largest organization in the world dedicated to supporting and building learning organizations. She also chaired their Strategic Directions Committee and was selected as the Chair of the Board for two years.
Susan is a leader in Stanford’s Designing Your Life Lab and leads “Designing Your Life” workshops for women and in companies. She is an instructor on “Values Based Leadership” for Antioch University’s “Women and Leadership” 10-month certificate program which develops high potential women to lead with purpose and influence. She is a regular speaker on leadership development and talent strategies that accelerate business results, and she is the author of a commentary on Executive Education for Harvard Business Review and co-author of “Hewlett-Packard Takes the Waste Out of Leadership” for the Journal of Organizational Excellence.
