Angela Lee

Angela Lee is the Founder and CEO of 37 Angels,  a community of female investors that seeks to educate early stage investors. The network funds early stage startups  and evaluates over 2,000 start-ups a year.

At Columbia Business School, Angela is the Assistant Dean of the Samberg Institute for Teaching Excellence and Innovation. She brings 15+ years of innovation, strategy, and entrepreneurship experience to the classroom.

David Einhorn

David Einhorn is president of Greenlight Capital, Inc., which he co-founded in January 1996. Prior to founding Greenlight, David worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) and Siegler, Collery & Co.

David is Chairman of the Boards of Greenlight Capital Re, Ltd. (NASDAQ:GLRE) and Green Brick Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ:GRBK).  He is the author of Fooling Some of the People All of the Time: A Long Short Story, published in May 2008. David graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University.


Karen Finerman

Ms. Finerman co-founded New York-based hedge fund Metropolitan Capital Advisors in 1992 and served as CEO until 2016. She is a permanent panelist on CNBC’s Fast Money, and the author of the New York Times best-selling book, Finerman's Rules: Secrets I'd Only Tell My Daughters About Business and Life.

Ms. Finerman is a proud board member of The Michael J. Fox Foundation and the Undergraduate Executive Board at Wharton, her alma mater. She lives in New York City with her husband Lawrence Golub, and their two sets of twins: Lucy and Jack and William and Kate.


Adena Friedman

Adena currently serves as President and CEO of Nasdaq. In this role, Adena is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s business segments with a focus on driving efficiency, product development, growth and expansion.

Prior to rejoining Nasdaq, Adena was Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of The Carlyle Group. As CFO, Adena had the unique opportunity to take the company public. Before Carlyle, Adena was part of Nasdaq's management team for over a decade, serving in a variety of roles including head of the data products business, head of corporate strategy, and Chief Financial Officer.

Deborah Harmon

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Artemis Real Estate Partners, LLC, a real estate investment firm that manages $1.8 billion of institutional capital across the core plus, value add and opportunistic risk spectrum in a variety of real estate strategies. With over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, she is responsible for establishing, implementing and overseeing the company’s strategic direction.

Alexa von Tobel

Alexa Von Tobel is the Founder of LearnVest, Inc and now also a Vice President of Client Experience at Northwestern Mutual.  She is also the New York Times Bestselling Author of Financially Fearless.   Alexa launched LearnVest in 2009 with the goal of making financial planning affordable and accessible. She raised over $72 million in financing from Accel Partners, American Express Ventures, and sold her company to Northwestern Mutual in 2015.

Alexa is an alumna of Harvard College and Harvard Business School.

Kelly Hoey is the author of Build Your Dream Network.

Michelle Friedman

Michelle Friedman is a certified executive coach, organizational consultant, facilitator and speaker with an expertise in women’s career paths. She is the Founder of Advancing Women’s Careers, LLC, a coaching and consulting firm based outside of NYC, which is dedicated to strengthening the pipeline of female leaders in demanding industries. Her work has been covered in publications such as The New York Times, Fortune, Harvard Business Review and CNN/Money.

Jonathan McBride

Jonathan is Managing Director at BlackRock and the Former Assistant to the President. Prior to joining the White House Jonathan served as the Chief Strategy Officer with Universum, a global Employer Branding company and served as the company’s most senior consultant to companies and agencies looking to attract and recruit top talent. In 2000 Jonathan founded Jungle Media Group, an award-winning media company whose magazines, websites, and live events serve a variety of audiences including MBAs, JDs, college students, African American young professionals, and Hispanic young professionals.

He received his B.A. in Economics and U.S. History from Connecticut College and his MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. 


Lisa Bernstein

Ms. Bernstein joined Apollo in 2008 as the Global Head of Human Resources where she has built and developed a best in class Human Resources function for the firm. Ms. Bernstein is responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing the global human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the firm, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, compensation, human capital and organizational planning, employee engagement, training and development, and benefits.

Ms. Bernstein is a member of Apollo’s Management Operating Committee which is responsible for operational management and decision making for the firm. Ms. Bernstein is the former Chairwoman and a member of The Private Equity Roundtable of Senior Human Resources Professionals and a regular speaker at industry conferences and human capital management seminars. Prior to joining Apollo, Ms. Bernstein was the Chief Talent Officer for Interbrand Corporation, an Omnicom Company. Prior to that, she was a Partner with Seyfarth Shaw, handling all aspects of labor and employment law on behalf of Fortune 500 clients. Ms. Bernstein graduated from the University of Michigan with an A.B. in Political Science and received her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law.


Gia Scinto

Gia is Head of Talent for Y Combinator.

In her prior role Gia served as a Talent Scout for Special Projects at Google and before that was a Partner of Executive Talent at Andreessen Horowitz.

Gia has been an executive recruiter for over a decade. Previous companies she has worked with include Microsoft, Cisco, and Bearing Point.
