Emerging Leaders Program

The emerging leaders program was designed to address specific challenges and career development topics relevant for women with fewer than 7 years of professional experience. 

For women in this level of career development, one key gender parity challenge for women is culture shock: there is often a gap between expectations of a gender-neutral workplace and the day-to-day manifestations of gender-based issues that cause many women to leave the industry. Our programming aims to address the 4 dimensions of leadership to combat recidivism at this level. 

In addition to monthly programming, emerging leaders will be expected to meet once monthly with their Parity Pod groups, a group of 6-10 women with similar professional experience, to discuss the monthly topic. These meetings will be facilitated by a Pod Leader, a hand-selected facilitator with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience who will act as a springboard and mentor to their pod group.

This curriculum has been created by industry experts and with feedback from our previous cohort.
